This award makes it sound like I saved someones life. Perhaps by emptying out a pen and shoving it down the throat of someone who was unable to breath due to an allergic reaction to something. Or maybe I improvised a tourniquet out of my shirt and stopped a gunshot victim from bleeding out.
Nope, I updated content on a public health website.
But it looks good on my trophy case.
(the large green one was given to me by the Chicago Sashay Company. The other is an "award" given out by iO to the best drunken spectacle. I am proud of the former and ashamed of the latter.)
